ApArt Fair is featuring artists in Hotel - don't be surprised to see art pieces in toilet and on the beds at Conrad Hotel, Singapore

Art Stage 2013, I was writing about in other posts, wasn't the only venue to see arts last weekend. While it provided space to galleries from all around the World, ApArt Fair launched The First Hotel Art exhibition in Singapore, featuring mainly individual artists in real rooms at Conrad Continental Hotel  on the weekend  of 26th - 27th January.

Week before ApArt opened Fair Frindge, from 18th January 11 Singapore artists were featured at 9 stores of Millenia Walk mall to offer full shopping experience of buying goods and art at the same place. But starting from eve of 25th January Singapore art connoisseurs could experience something completely new - seeing art shown not only placed on the walls of 40 rooms on the 23rd, 24th levels of Conrad Hotel, but also on chairs and on the floor, on beds and windows and even toilet bowls and bathroom sinks. Some of the pieces actually fit hotel atmosphere quite well. Pictures say better, than words in this case.
