Lasalle College of Arts continues to patronize and give exhibition space to young and talented and this time on the eve of 27th of February, truly special showcase was opened at Praxis Space & Project Space @ ICA - Artism by Spectrum.
Curated by Director of Institute of Contemporary Arts Dr. Charles Merewether, Artism is series of works by children from 8 to 18 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Works tematic ranges from Singapore center landscapes to urban life objects such as taxis and from abstract pieces to nature and even mango and comics characters aiming to show, that every person can to recognized and honed as an artist. Organized by Spectrum, a team of three BA (Hons) Lasalle Arts Management students Christine Fernando, Sharleen Chiu and Tessa Wong, Artism is part of i-AM 2013 Arts Festival and raising awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Exhibition will be featured until 8th of March and can be visited at Praxis Space & Project Space @ ICA, 1 McNally Street, from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
