My Jonah runway look by Jiayun (Una) Zhu

Fashion brand and on-line store Noel Caleb launched Jonah collection on the 23rd of March at the on the 44th floor of The Sail, 160 guests, bloggers, photographers, lifestyle, fashion junkies gathered for Saturday midday private party at the posh suite of one of the best condos in Singapore, overlooking Marina Bay Sands...

Debuting as a model, I got a chance to see inside of event preparation and experience all of it from the beginning to the end. Here it is.

Beauties arrived to the venue at 7.30 am, and quickly set up for makeup and hairdo by the Makeup artists, RiaLeila DelaCruz-Maynes, Cruzin Ica Muñoz, Pippin Emerald , Sharon Pow, Imaah Zai, and others. Meanwhile Noel Caleb team was preparing venue and ironing our outfits. Special thanks to Rain, who made my smokey eyes look for a show. It was great girls hang out before show, as we were taking pictures, laughing, making hair to each other and, of course, training our walks a bit to the end. Then we dressed and hanged out with the guests, who started to arrive at 12 pm for a lunch. 1 pm - couple of touch-ups - messing curls and a little bit of more gloss to the lips, and here we are behind the curtain listening to Eileen's speech and video interviews, that were recorded week ago...

Then... I didn't realize, but in couple of minutes, while we were actually walking, changing outfits, doing makeup touch ups, it was over! So fast. My feet even didn't get tired of high-high heels. The runway was over and we are already taking pictures with designers and guests, friends and teammates. Somehow it ended up very fast and I kind of didn't even catch the feel of nervousness before walk. All was easy and smooth.

Couple of facts:

Jessica Ee was chosen to be official model for Jonah collection, Christabel Chua got special prize as the most popular Jonah model, who got the most Likes in Facebook. It was especially great, as she flew from Australia only for runway. And S size Jonah pink dress, that Jessica was wearing for last part is sold out right after event. Great success!
